NGHWA Events

Monthly Meetings

Our meetings are held on the second Friday of each month, except for August and December. The August and December meetings are held on the first Friday of the month. The meetings are from 6:30 PM to 9 PM. We will have a social “happy hour” from 6:30 to 7:00! Meet or network with your hypnotic neighbors, and learn how to improve your skills and business practices.

Come join us and learn what hypnosis and the NGHWA is all about! You’ll be glad you did.

Our meetings are open to the general public. There is a $10/meeting fee for non-members to attend NGHWA meetings.

Upcoming Meeting Topics and Events

February 10, 2012

At our February 10th meeting, Margot Hanson will be presenting Accessing the Kinesthetic Learner.

Life, being a journey, takes twist and turns and unexpected detours. One of my detours as a Massage Therapist was EFT, short for Emotional Freedom Technique. Over the past fourteen years of private practice and studying healing, I found that so much of our wellbeing is determined by the mind as well as the body. EFT was the vehicle that took me from body work to the mind work of hypnosis. EFT is like hypnosis or NLP in that it deals with emotional issues and breaks down patterns and programs that are already established in us, but it is also connected to the meridians of oriental medicine and our physicality. It is useful with any and all emotional dilemmas, such as fear, phobias, anger, and anxiety, as well as physical problems, such as pain and chronic disease. For someone who is kinesthetically orientated it can be a relevant connection to the subconscious. I look forward to sharing more information and a demonstration of this technique with you. – Margot Hanson.
